Resources to grow God's people

Welcome to our Connect Leaders Hub.

This site exists to provide you with the following 3 things:

  • Exegetical Training - Explaining the text and what the questions are trying to get at, as well as any tricky sections. We are trying to grow your exegesis skills over time. Remember - keep pointing people back to the text.

  • Theological Understanding - We will touch on any relevant theological concepts the text brings up and aim to keep growing us all in our understanding of God and the way he has revealed himself to us. We will give extra material and content that will stretch you and clarify our understanding of these concepts, ideas and historical positions. These are extra to the study and not intended to be delivered to the group - but inform your background understanding.

  • Practical Skills - We will go over any practical tips that will be helpful for leading the people in your group. Sometimes it will be group management ideas, other times responding to common issues that are raised. We will occasionally diver deeper into some pastoral skills that will help your people to flourish and you to be able to lead and respond well. Think of it as weekly on the job training.

Are available as a video or audio with a written transcript. If you prefer to read over watching or listening, just click the Audio and Transcription button below and you can see a full transcription of the leaders notes. It won't be exact, but it will get you pretty close. If you are unsure of something, just click the text you are unsure of and it will play the audio of that section for you.
